Jojo Corväiá is a Berlin-based visual artist born in Venezuela, with a background in architecture and a practice that extends into graphic design, photography, multimedia, and ceramics.  

His work in ceramics centers around the concept of imperfection, asymmetry, and modesty. Roughness, irregularity, and a deep respect for the natural process of expression define his approach. He embraces the anomalies that emerge through hand-building, celebrating them as essential elements that add uniqueness, beauty, and character to each piece.  

Working exclusively with his hands allows him to form a direct and intimate connection with the material. For each piece, he envisions a sensory experience that transcends appearance, reaching into the realm of emotion and perception.
