3daysofdesign – 2026

For this year’s 3daysofdesign, RUE VERTE presents a newly transformed interior reflecting more than three decades of bringing together art, design, vintage pieces and collected objects. Rather than separating disciplines, periods or categories, the exhibition explores the dialogue that emerges when contemporary works, vintage finds and architectural elements are brought together within a carefully composed setting.

 

This year’s presentation includes dedicated displays by Shuhei Fukuda, Jojo Corväiá, Studio Henry Wilson and introduces works by Karen Verlinden, alongside a curated salon wall featuring contemporary and vintage works, architectural elements by Jean Prouvé, rare books and selected lighting.

 

The exhibition also includes selected works and collections from long term collaborators such as Bieke Casteleyn, Boldizar Senteski, Ceccotti Collezioni, Collection Particulière, CTO Lighting, Delcourt Collection, Entrelacs Creation, Koen Van Guijze, Maja Karen, Meridiani, Morten Angelo, Natural Material Studio, Ochre, Overgaard & Dyrman, Simonsen & Czechura, Toogood and Vogel Studio, among others.

Prise Bronze Bottle Opener’s design embodies a playful ambiguity, merging elements of mid-century sculpture and familiar industrial tools. A highly sculptural reframing of a utilitarian, often unremarkable essential, this is not an object to be tucked away in your kitchen drawer, but one to sit where its bold form can be duly appreciated.   Each piece is manufactured by a small-scale art foundry in Sydney, using the centuries-old technique of lost wax casting; then hot-patinated and sealed in restoration wax to facilitate a rich, dark, tarnish-resistant surface, before being punched with a maker's mark. The lengthy finishing process replicates that used by sculpture greats such as the English artist Henry Moore, renowned for his monumental post-war bronze works.   The nature of casting and finishing processes means slight variations will occur from one piece to another. Production marks may include slight pour ripples or surface pitting. The original finish will oxidise and darken over time to reveal a distinctive patina. If preferred, use a quality micro-crystalline wax polish.   Crafted, finished and polished in Sydney, Australia.

Fabio Vogel Born in Germany and raised in Portugal, Fabio graduated from Burg Giebichenstein in Halle with a Masters in Interior and Furniture Design (2016). Driven by the dynamics of human interaction with objects, Fabio loves to combine ideas with experiences and unconventional materials and textures. The objective is to design, transform and create products that are both visually appealing and long lasting. Fabio has been actively engaged in the creative industry since 2015, bringing his unique studio creations to life. His work encompasses a wide range of areas, including furniture, product design and accessories. Through his passion for collaboration and exploration, Fabio has had the opportunity to work with professionals in various fields, which has greatly enriched his creative process. In addition to his creative endeavors, Fabio is dedicated to sharing his knowledge and expertise as a furniture design lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HAWK) in Hildesheim. Since 2016 he is helping students develop their design skills and creative thinking. Since 2019 he has also taken on the responsibility of teaching fundamental design courses at HAWK. Vogel Studio We create objects and interior. This includes furniture, accessories and contemporary collectible design pieces. We collaborate with global brands or private individuals on bespoke projects or independent endeavors. The act of making is vital to us. We make the most of our work in our studio or collaborate with professionals in their respective fields who have become friends and understand our way of working and thinking. The approach to our work varies depending on the project, it is never the same. We don't have a fixed method, which means it is a continous process of learning and expanding our skills. Experimentation and exploration with materials are of great importance to us. This often leads to untouched ideas. For us, the boundary between art and design is like a gradient. Both can be found in our work.

Blown by hand in Sweden, Denmark or Germany. Fabio Vogel’s pieces are formed using a combination of methodologies, utilising fireproof textiles to shape and impact the end result. In the approach to creating the pieces, Vogel Studio allows the concept of ‘fire-as-element’ to direct this design process. In crafting pieces from hand-blown glass, the contrasting relationship between the destructive power of fire and it’s creative strength is an ever present reality. The pieces are shaped using a fireproof fabric mould, the effect of which is clearly visible in their patterned exterior where indentations and stitches punctuate the face of the glass. The project combines the smooth, elegant aesthetic of the glass with the more traditional, time-worn visual of the woven cloth. While outer seams may appear to hold the forms together, the effect concludes at the neck of the piece where fabric gives way to polished glass. Each glass object is hand signed and always one of a kind, created in very limited runs.
