  • 105-ltr forms by Vogel Studio are created by using a combination of methodologies, utilizing fireproof textiles to shape and impact the end result. With this approach, Vogel Studio allows the concept of ‘fire-as-element’ to direct this design process. The contrasting relationship between fire’s destructive power and creative strength is ever-present in crafting objects from hand-blown glass. The 105-ltr forms are shaped using a fireproof fabric mold, the effect of which is clearly visible in their patterned exterior, where indentations and stitches punctuate the surface of the glass. The project combines the smooth, elegant aesthetic of the glass with the more traditional, time-worn visual of woven cloth. While outer seams may appear to hold the forms together, the effect concludes at the neck of the objects, where fabric gives way to polished glass. Every glass object is blown, deformed, and polished by hand in Sweden or Germany. The 105-ltr forms are always unique and are signed at the bottom by designer Fabio Vogel.SOLD105-ltr forms by Vogel Studio are created by using a combination of methodologies, utilizing fireproof textiles to shape and impact the end result. The objective is to design, transform and create products that are both visually appealing and long lasting. Fabio has been actively engaged in the creative industry since 2015, bringing his unique studio creations to life. His work encompasses a wide range of areas, including furniture, product design and accessories. Through his passion for collaboration and exploration, Fabio has had the opportunity to work with professionals in various fields, which has greatly enriched his creative process. In addition to his creative endeavors, Fabio is dedicated to sharing his knowledge and expertise as a furniture design lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HAWK) in Hildesheim. Since 2016 he is helping students develop their design skills and creative thinking. Since 2019 he has also taken on the responsibility of teaching fundamental design courses at HAWK. Vogel Studio We create objects and interior. This includes furniture, accessories and contemporary collectible design pieces. We collaborate with global brands or private individuals on bespoke projects or independent endeavors. The act of making is vital to us. We make the most of our work in our studio or collaborate with professionals in their respective fields who have become friends and understand our way of working and thinking. The approach to our work varies depending on the project, it is never the same. We don't have a fixed method, which means it is a continous process of learning and expanding our skills. Experimentation and exploration with materials are of great importance to us. This often leads to untouched ideas. For us, the boundary between art and design is like a gradient. Both can be found in our work.Fabio Vogel Born in Germany and raised in Portugal, Fabio graduated from Burg Giebichenstein in Halle with a Masters in Interior and Furniture Design (2016). While the entire studio was planned by architects and interior designers, Vogel's focus was on the finer elements - resulting in custom door and wardrobe handles, thresholds, and a large mirror resembling this piece. The design originated from a smaller mirror previously created for Aesop. Vogel's aim was to highlight the raw character of the casting within the frame itself.
