RUE VERTE presents works by Koen Van Guijze and Jumandie Seys.
Van Guijze creates lamps, objects, and furniture with a rough edge and a poetic touch, working with materials such as steel, brass, and stone. His pieces are technically functional, yet reduced to simple, direct forms.
Seys approaches design as a search for a pure expression of form and material. His work is defined by a dialogue between contrasting elements, combining modern processes with traditional craftsmanship to create tension in both surface and structure.
Both practices are grounded in material and process, each approaching it from a different direction.
