These vases are made using a fire-resistant textile mould that is sewn by hand before the glassblowing process begins. Molten glass is blown directly into the flexible fabric form, allowing the material to press into the surface of the glass. As the glass expands, the texture of the fabric and its stitched seams are permanently transferred, creating a tactile surface and visible lines that become part of the final form.
Because the fabric mould reacts differently to heat and pressure each time, no two vases are exactly alike. The contrast between the textured body and the smooth glass neck highlights the making process, leaving clear traces of both handwork and material. Each piece is hand-blown and produced individually. Handsigned and Numbered 1|1.
